Are You Caring For Your Family? If Yes, First Get Insured

Insurance is a cost and utter waste. This is what many people consider when the insurance subject is discussed. Remember, this cost is the least when you compare the benefits gained when an unfortunate event like death, accident, theft, etc. occurs. The money spent in insurance contracts is a good saving cum investment. Furthermore, it takes care of the welfare of your family.

You can make a choice of good plans to cover the basic risks like Health, Home, Vehicles, etc.. For your business or profession, go for the policies that will insure the risks associated with your products, furniture and fittings, plant and machinery, etc..

What is an insurance? The risks involved in our life are multifarious. Sudden demise of a person is an unbearable and irreparable loss to everybody. That too, an untimely death leaves shock and void in the family. To protect against such unfortunate events and risks, a mechanism called insurance is in place.

Types of Insurance: Basically, two types of insurance exist as Life and non-Life insurance. The First type is for compensating the dependents upon the death of the policy holder. It has two varieties as 1) Pure insurance or term insurance where premium rate will be lower, but no returns or refunds made if the person survives after the policy period. 2) Endowment type, where death and maturity benefits are combined, comes at a higher premium. Non-life products cover the risks like Accident, Marine, Health, Goods, Agricultural crops, Cash-in-transit, etc. Additionally, a third type exists as Reinsurance, which insures risks like Satellite, Spacecraft, etc… involving huge amounts.

Do’s & Don’ts of Insurance: 1) Read the contract notes. Even after taking all precautions before buying an insurance product, some exclusions are made to the risks covered. 2) Keep the policy in force by paying the premium regularly. Your claim will be rejected if you have not paid the premium. 3) Inform the insurance company about any changes in your address, the nature and composition of assets covered, etc.. These issues crop up in the case of business assets and movable assets like vehicles. When you acquire a second-hand asset, the risk is more: you have to make sure the title is transferred into your name. 4) Always source the insurance products from the reputed companies that have a good reputation in the market. New insurers tend to secure more business and profit, but avoid the payment of the claims under their policies.

So, Insurance is a not a liability, but an investment for the future. Insurance agent alone provides solace and relief and in fact brings good news, when others simply console when a family bereaved.

Wise People Remain Insured.

How Powerful Is Your Power Bank?

With the evolution of smart phones there have been numerous articles on how to reduce battery drainage, what apps on your phone drains your battery faster, so on and so forth. At the end of the day it always comes down to the battery. What bullets are to guns, battery is to your smart phone. This small device which possesses the power to convert chemical energy to electric energy gives your smart phone POWER and quoting Spiderman “With great power comes great responsibility.”

What we are trying to say is, these rechargeable batteries, without which we are socially impaired in today’s world are an important device in our smart phone. Since we cannot tune out the apps (to save on battery), which make smart phones smart, we can always resort to using portable USB battery chargers or Power Banks. Our duty lies in selecting the right device for our phones and how powerful the Power Bank is.

Smart Phone users are rapidly gravitating towards Power Banks because they are portable and can be easily charged with the phone charger, computer USB port and chargers supplemented by the device as well. For the more ecologically inclined crowd there are also Solar powered Power banks.

These rechargeable batteries of Power Banks are made up of Lithium ion and their capacity is measured in Milliampere-hour (mAh), though these terms tend to intimidate us, but these are very basic and simple qualities that we need to understand before we delve into measuring the power of our portable USB chargers.

Milliampere-hour (mAh) is nothing but a thousandth of an ampere hour, which is a unit of electric charge, equal to the charge transferred by a steady current of one ampere flowing for one hour.

Since the Power Bank stores power in the form of DC current, it clearly charges your Smart Phones much faster compared to AC chargers a.k.a the Smart Phone chargers which accompany your Phone, reason being these AC chargers because they transfer AC current to DC, the flow of current is not steady, thus takes longer to charge than a Power Bank which charges your phone with its DC output and with its steady flow charges your devices much more efficiently and faster.

It is a myth when some Power Bank companies claim that their products provide a 92%mAh conversion. Conversion rate is the remaining capacity of the battery after some part of it is lost in heat or PCB. This 92%mAh conversion claim is not possible because the conversion rates of the batteries depend on the input voltage and energy dissipation as pointed out earlier, because of which the same portable USB charger will charge faster through a phone charger but takes a longer time to charge through a computer USB port. In reality conversion rates produced by Lithium ion batteries is only 75% to 80%.

When we consider the power of a Power bank, we must take into account the Real capacity of their batteries, for instance, if a portable USB charger with a 10000mAh (Real Capacity) claims to charge your Samsung S5 with a battery capacity of 2800 mAh up to 5 times, then it is not a justified claim because considering an average conversion rate of 80% of the its battery, if we apply this simple formula we get to know that in reality the device with its real capacity of 10000mAh can only charge the phone up to 2 times.

REAL CAPACITY * conversion rate * phone battery health / phone capacity = total charge times

EXAMPLE:10000 x 0.8 x 0.8 / 2800= 2.28(approx 2 times)

When deciding on a Power Bank we also need to see if the same comes with an Electric Circuit Protection which will protect your Smart phones from overcharge, Over-Current, Over-Discharge and Short-Circuit. Electric circuit protection cuts off the power supply once your phone is completely charged, its absence leads to reverse current from the device, which in turn will harm your phone/tablet/MP3 player.

Always buy a portable USB charger with a Lithium Ion battery though they are expensive but are much safer because they generate less heat, the battery capacity is durable and they come with a battery protection circuit, as mentioned earlier which protects your smart phone from overcharging and short-circuit.

So be smart and powerful with the Power Bank, choose the right one and enjoy your smart phone without being Powerless.

Words of Wisdom – For Girls!

In life, there appear times when people are right there, but you can not hook them up forever; You can not tie them with you; You can not hold onto them; You can not have them.

You know they are easy with getting away yet you do not halt loving them.

You run after them. They say they will make up-to it and sometimes say they would not be able making up.

You being told repeatedly that you would not have them begins engraving those words in your soul embedding sadness to your already-miserable life. You start to fade away, inside trying to stand-up but falling badly.

Deep down, inwardly, you want to yell and shout for them, for your love, for your thing, but No, then the idea of them being someone else’s starts to appear. You want them.

Yes! You! You need them. You tell them you love them. They overlook. They ignore you. They are your life; the reason of your existence but you? A little piece of pollution for them. You do all that you can crossing limits and sometimes when you can not, you stop and they? They leave the world because every entity has to end up this way, leaving the earth, leaving the world everyone has to move off.

They said they were yours? They were? Or they would do something? For you? Were you so crazy and a blind Milton that you had nothing else to do but run after them? Oh come on! If you were worth the fight, they would not have left you like a tissue paper. Used and misused. You get that?

Yes you! Never run after anybody no matter what they say and NO matter how truly they deceive you. YOU get that? It is YOU who pays later on. It is YOU who mistakes time-pass with AFFECTION.

If you are worth the fight, a FIGHTER will come! Sooner or later.. He will. Trust me, honey. He will.

If something is meant for you, it will be yours. No one, intentionally or unintentionally can have it, no matter how hard they try. The poignancy of life resides in YOU being unable to acknowledge that MERELY the love of God sees no fall. Only the affection that YOU hold inside you for God stays forever. What good a lover God is. He, only He, the Almighty, doesn’t question you anything for himself, all that He has ever wanted is for YOUR good not His. So live and love, wisely!

Believing Dreams Will Come True

Until when will you believe? What if you did everything you could, while believing, and still nothing’s happening? What will you do?

A. Let go?

B. Continue believing?

C. Work on something else?

I read somewhere that writing your goals will make it real for you. So, one time in December 2012, I wrote my goals, with a timeline. I felt superman powers that day that I thought by just writing all my very specific goals down (date with events), God will hear it and He will make it come true for me! Yes, like magic!

I believed that.

I believed it truly that every day, I’d look at my list and would excitedly imagine it happening soon! Every morning I’d read my list and I’d pray for it.

Do you know what happened? Two out of the seven items came true! And guess what?! with exact time (month and year) and events!

Was it magic? Was it just perfect timing? Was it pure luck? or Was it because I believed?

What do you think?

But, you know what? to this day I have not let go. I continue to believe that my five other items will come true soon!

I have to tell you though that even if I’d look at my list still, daily, and pray for it, I made sure to leave my concerns, worries and issues in God’s hands.

Sister Teresa of Calcutta heard the voice of God while traveling by train, she believed it. She said it was a call within a call that she was to serve the poor in the slums. She asked permission, and even if it took a while for the permission to be granted, she didn’t lose hope. She said, it wasn’t her will, it’s God’s will. She continued to believe, and the rest was history.

It is fun to dream! It is fun to look ahead and see the possibilities that are in store for us! It is fun to believe!

As the days passed by in December 2012 and no event was happening, I knew there was nothing I could do if it wasn’t time yet. It will never be because I will it, it was all about God’s will, all according to His perfect timing.

Friends, there are three important things to think about here:

First, I hope we learn to let go. Not to let go of our dreams, but to let go of worrying, anxiety and self-righteousness. If it is meant to be, God will make all our dreams come true for us. Right?

Second, I hope we will continue to believe in the beauty of our dreams. There will be a lot of times when we feel nothing is happening, but I believe that something within has started to grow, it just hasn’t shown in reality yet, but it is coming. It is coming soon!

Third, I hope we won’t get fixated that we forget to work on something else! Enjoy life! Show up! Have fun! There is more to life than our dreams! Do something else! Embrace life’s other surprises!

I thank God for options and alternatives.

My five items didn’t happen as planned. There were a lot of detours, diversions, stopovers, interruptions, challenges, and threats.

But, looking back now, it was beautiful! It was beautiful because it also came with a lot of hope, opportunities, lessons, joy and awesome surprises!

Just like Sister Teresa of Calcutta, let us not lose hope.

If God meant our dreams to come true, it will be in an easy and relaxed manner, in His perfect timing and for the highest good of all.

May all our dreams be blessed.

NAMASTE.

Nairobi Street Families and Their Love For Glue

Take a walk down the Nairobi streets. Life seems so normal… From sound blazing Public Service Vehicles snaking their way into the heart of the town to Motorcycle riders shoving the pedestrians along the foot paths, everybody seems to care about their own welfare. Most daily papers have described it as a city under the Sun. That is a true statement considering the fact that most of the city dwellers thrive under the sun. But unfortunately some feel its heat the most. Those who are left with no choice but to dwell in its narrow streets. Those who find solace in picking some few cartons spreading them across the street when it’s Isolated deep in the dark. They have been named the street families.

The streets families are awakened from their sleep by loud screeching sounds as the door of the businesses are opened. They stand and stretch. They pick their cartons to face a new harsh reality of life. One item that almost all of them never lack is glue firmly gripped in their hand. At least they always manage to place it safely for it to see another day.

Most street families have always managed to maintain a cordial relationship between themselves and the cobblers. They supply them with the glue at a relatively cheaper price or even sometimes for free depending on their interaction skills. Glue is their only source of hope. They sniff it first thing in the morning. They can’t stomach their feelings of hopelessness and their slimmer chances of making it into another day. They want to go about their daily activities without clear sense of mind. They cannot just handle the pressure if they are sober. It’s almost impossible. From Police brutality, County Council harassment, being suspected by the general public for any crime committed in the city, going hungry sometimes during the day, sleeping in the colds at night without any form of cover or shelter and to some extent some of them losing their lives after being knocked down by reckless and drunk drivers during the night it is always a mess to dwell in the city.

Most of them have been made to believe that glue sniffing has positive effects to their well beings mostly from their experienced counterparts. More over most of them affirm that sniffing glue makes them satisfied even without taking a meal. Some of them also have no doubt that after taking the substance; the cold vanishes from their bodies and makes them much warmer. Others have even gone to the further extreme by believing that the glue clears out the toxic chemicals from their nervous system and makes them more energized to face the day and also allows them to wear a smile on their faces.

It is very clear that the street families and their love for glue cannot be separated. They literally worship the drug. It’s almost impossible to convince them about the damage the glue can cause to their health system. But the best thing any human can do is to make them feel loved and appreciated and may be in doing so, they can open up and indicate their willingness to change and adapt healthy living styles.

Massage in Bucharest

Recognize it! You’re busy! And so must be! That’s what life is like! But you want more than that, you want to do more for yourself and massage can help. Because massage makes more than a simple relaxation of the mind and body. It keeps your body in shape and gives you enough energy to make you enjoy a longer life better than you do it today.

Massage releases stress. At the moment, stress is a universal evil. Every time you are late, every time you avoid a car in traffic, every time you have trouble working, stress is doing his job. Each time adrenaline increases heart rate and cortisone levels and organs respond to the measure. You will be in a state of nerves and constant agitation.
When there is no release of stress, serious problems such as an upset stomach, hypertension, sleep disturbances, chest pain, or existing illness may worsen.

Some of the changes that may occur are: Anxiety, lack of concentration, depression, permanent fatigue, muscle or bone pain, sexual dysfunction, excessive sleep or insomnia

All these stress-related problems can be diminished and some can be totally eliminated by massage. The researchers concluded that a massage session can lower heart rate and blood pressure, relax your muscles and increase endorphin production. The massage also releases serotonin and dopamine and the result is a general relaxation, both physical and mental.
Our body care must be at the top of the priorities.
By adding the massage to your routine you will look much better and you will be much healthier and relaxed. Massage can improve your vitality and mood. Massage can prepare for a long and beautiful life.

Our masseuses personalize each massage session according to the needs of the individual.
Our massage parlors offer a variety of relaxation styles and techniques to help you. Apart from relaxing, massage can be a powerful ally in reducing pain, increasing energy levels, improving mental and physical performance

We recommend : HotAngels , VipZone , JadePalace , ThaiPassion

After a massage session, you will see how the mental prospects are enriched, the body allows easier handling, better pressure resistance, relaxation and mental alertness, calm and creative thinking.
When you have the impression or force yourself to stay straight, your body is not actually aligned properly. Not only does the posture look bad, but it forces some of the muscles to go muddy all day, while others become weaker. After a long time, the incorrect position may cause other drops. For example, internal organs press on what affects digestion, breathing ability is also diminished, which means that much less blood and oxygen reaches the brain and hence all sorts of other complications.

Massage allows you to return your body to the track. Allowing the body to make healthy and accurate movements is one of the greatest benefits of massage. Massage can relax and restore muscles injured by bad posture, allowing the body to position itself in a natural, painless position.
Apart from posture, there is also anxiety. One of the signs of anxiety and stress can also be heavy breathing. When the body begins to breathe too little and deeply instead of breathing at a natural rithm, it is impossible for one to relax. One reason may also be that the chest muscles and the abdomen get tightened and the air gets harder.

Massage plays an important role in learning the body how to relax and how to improve breathing. Respiratory problems such as allergies, sinuses, asthma or bronchitis are a group of conditions that can benefit from massage. In fact, massage can have a positive impact on respiratory function.

Many of the muscles in the front and back of the upper part of the body are breathing accessory. When these muscles are tight and shorten they can block normal breathing and interrupt effective breathing natural rithm. Massage techniques for stretching and relaxing these muscles improves breathing function and breathability. Massage leads to an opening of the chest as well as structural alignment and nerve dilatation that are required for optimal pulmonary function. A good way to treat respiratory problems with massage is the taping made in Swedish massage. When done on the back, along with vibrations, it can detach the mucus from the lungs and can clean the airways for better later function.

Massage not only relaxes muscles, but helps people become aware of daily stress levels. Once the body recognizes what really means relaxation, the mind can rest easily relax before the stress becomes cornice and harmful. This will help you enjoy a balanced life. Massage controls breathing, allows the mind to re-create relaxation before the occurrence of chronic and harmful stress and increases the level of energy.
